An Overview of AIM’s Ministry to Your Youth Group
We do the following so you don’t have to. We serve you in these ways to free you to focus on equipping and ministering to your students, and to allow your students to effectively invest their time and energy into loving one another and the community they’ll be serving.
- Training: we’ll provide a missions training video and manual that’ll lead you step-by-step as you prepare. You can go through the training in eight sessions. We’ll also suggest skills for your group to build-up (e.g., drama) and provide and direct you to additional resources and training.
- Logistics: we’ll set-up the field prior to your trip and handle arrangements for your room and board, transportation and ministry opportunities.
- Leadership: we’ll manage the “nuts-and-bolts” – the operations – of your trip. Depending on the scope and needs of your project, we’ll send a project leader or staff (e.g., construction coordinators) to take charge of the details. For projects with at least twenty-five participants, we’ll provide a worship leader who will lead worship and help you lead debriefs.
- Follow-up: we’ll make arrangements for local churches and pastors from the field to disciple those your students ministered to and the new believers they helped bring to Christ during their trip.
